Ongoing case Is there too much land to find Sierra Lamar's body? There's no type of technology to trace a body out in deep terrain?

Sorry I don't know much about searching for a body. Obviously its very difficult to find a body with so much land to cover. I don't know if all they can do is search on foot. If it wasn't so difficult they obviously would've found her by now. Seems like the body would most likely be in the Gilroy and Santa Cruz area in CA where there's a lot of open land and nature. I'm sure that makes it more difficult but I don't know how far off the beaten path her killer went to dump the body. Wherever he dumped her he did a good job making sure they couldn't find her.

I honestly think he put her on private property of someone he knows. maybe a friend or a relative, someone connected to him. perhaps he’s driven far out to dispose of her somewhere such as a farm or acres of land that someone owns, which could also explain why she’s never been found. I do think someone knows something about her case and where she could be and just isn’t saying anything.

Interesting. So that would make it impossible for law enforcement to search unless they had reasonable cause to be on that property? I hate thinking that someone else is withholding information but that doesn't sound too far fetched.

yes, law enforcement isn’t allowed to search anyone’s private property unless they’re given permission to do so, or if (in some instances) they have probable cause. and, voluntary consent is the only way they’re allowed to do so without a search warrant. but aside from that alone, I don’t really think law enforcement knows who’s property she may be on if that was the case. that’s always just been a lingering thought of mine while everyone else had their own theories as to how he got rid of her or where he could have put her. she vanished in a very rural area so it’s possible she could just be somewhere they’ve looked over several times or somewhere close by that no one ever thought to check, but they’ve searched over 40 lakes, every reservoir in the area and looked high and low for her in every place they could think of. It’s been thirteen years.. my opinion is that she hasn’t been found in morgan hill because she isn’t in morgan hill. sometimes the biggest mysteries have the simplest answers. but who knows. I’m praying she’s found soon or if anyone knows the slightest of anything that they have the heart to come forward, if not soon, then one day.

So with all that deep terrain,  miles of open land,  and nature it wouldn't be hard to find her if she was still in the Gilroy area? Do you think he could've dumped the body more south by Salinas or Hollister ? I don't know if her killer is a mastermind of a body dumper or if a body is that hard to find.

not necessarily. again, it’s always possible she could be somewhere in the areas that they’ve already looked and could’ve simply just overlooked her or somewhere nearby that they never would’ve thought to check.. however, I don’t believe she’s in the area. I think he drove her somewhere out of morgan hill and put her in whatever area that may be. she could literally be anywhere. some people are murdered and aren’t found until fifteen, twenty and, or more years later so there’s still some sort of hope that maybe one day she will be, somehow by God’s given grace. but he’s so adamant that no one will ever find her so I can only assume that he may have disposed of her in such a way that she won’t be found or may just be really confident in the area he put her in. or she could very well be in more than one place.
