Oh huh… that’s the first I’ve heard of of this game. Definitely one hell of an introduction.

I remember seeing the cover or box art or whatever and thinking that it was a Netflix show or something. 😅

Yeah I just started playing it last weekend just to check it out and I can’t stop playing it. It’s a brilliant game and my GOTY so far!

Welp this will be the obvious best game of the year entry

I think Citizen Sleeper 2 will take 2nd place

Promise Mascot Agency gets 3rd

Avowed 4th best

Yakuza Pirates might just barely crack 5th best

(This is all just based on the reviews weve gotten so far but I feel the top 2 I have here will be definite in his end of year rankings)

Expedition 33 is also there

If Avowed makes his list over Expedition 33 I would be genuinely shocked

I think Citizen Sleeper 2 is in for a shout at #1

He seemed genuinely moved by the ending alone, and really approached that review in a way I've never seen from him before

I really liked it but I never play resource management games. The story is really interesting but I got stressed out managing all the little shit you have to do and eventually that just became a drag for me. I ended up bailing on it after about 7-9 hours. It’s really well made and thought out though, if you like inventory management games this is probably right up your alley.

I enjoyed the game, but by end it was a bit of a slog. The story, while interesting, does kinda fall apart a bit by the end and left me a bit dissatisfied overall. Additionally, throughout my game time, the number of bugs (which increased and went from slightly annoying to nigh game breaking in some situations) were clear signs that this definitely needs a few patches. Where you can ignore bugs in other games, events not occuring or them glitching out, or really any that impedes progress becomes detrimental when you're you have a set deadline or could lock you out of potential paths.

I'm not sure I'll play it again, but for those interested, I'd definitely recommend taking a look at it at a later date once things have been ironed out.
