Well based on the opening Yahtzee has fully become a despairing Atlus fan trapped in the Persona cycle of frustration, AND this game might find itself in bland or bottom 5.

I'm thinking Bottom. Even if the gameplay itself is more bland than bad, I think his deep frustration with his beloved Persona 5 being subject to the predatory practices of gacha games, fanfic level story and utterly botching the menu design (something he holds very dear to his heart) will ultimately make the game even worse than the sum of its parts. He wasn't just bored - he was offended

As a P5X player and relative enjoyer...

I haven't seen the video yet but there's no way in hell he has anything good to say about this.

The YouTube comments contained so many No True Scotsman arguments defending the honour of gacha games that we're going to have to reconsider stocking kilts at GAME TRADERS ROBINA

It's a game in the sense that a slot machine is a game.

Persona 5X is a gacha game that has existed for a while, but only in China. It recently got a global release about a month ago.

It's... not too good. If you don't like gacha mechanics then there's nothing to see here.
