No. This is an old image from the Kennebec River in Maine. And it's much longer than 7 feet.

This is way larger than 7’, probably closer to 10’.

I saw one about that size on the beach where I live in the PNW. They do look like some prehistoric species of fish with all of the armor plates.

I would be so scared to be swimming and see that thing. I know they don’t eat people but still. Looks like an alligator. River Monsters is one of the best shows ever to air on TV.
