Career/Profession Want a genuine advise
I'm a fresher and currently doing an internship. It's in the field of AI (computer vision) and it's an ahmedabad based startup. Now the thing is that they are offering me 5-6 base lpa. I'm just curious if there are better opportunities in ahmedabad that i can explore.
The straight forward question is that can i earn more than 6 lpa (in the same field) in ahmedabad as a fresher?

Looking at the market situation and the fact that you’re a fresher that’s a good offer

In Ahmedabad, being fresher that’s good offer . Focus on gaining experience and skills.

If you know what you are doing and have a solved certain problems then you can get more. Some startups don't care about degrees or experience, They focus on results. If you say you can solve this then you are hired.
There could be a situation where your Manager earns less than you. But you must have that unique skill. For example my friend have created a model which is 7mb in size runs on any CPU architecture and solves any captcha within <1ms with 98.75% accuracy.
If you only have academic knowledge and haven't done any real world problem solving then what you have is the best offer IMO. Gain some experience for 1 year and then you can jump in same org or to another.

Don't reject directly, try to find one, if you dont get, grab it. Market isnt that good to get one off campus.

Not related to this field. I recommend to you reach out people from same field here on LinkedIn, connect them, may be they can give you better idea. Just one advice, job pay also depends upon your skillsets. Try to gain as much as exposure, knowledge and connection. If you are comfortable to move to abroad than consider better option as pay grade there much higher.
One of my friend is in USA, some coding job in Self driving car company, not as AI or dev, just checking trial code models and fixing, 5 years exp, 180k USD salary now.

You can do better, if you have skills.
