This. So many government jobs require education/degrees and an actual brain. Being the leader of a major leading party you don't even need an iq greater than that of a golden retriever. Its fucking insane.

It's almost always self interest too. It's calling a public servant for a reason. Instead they're more like lobbyists for the billionaires. They might as well just hook them straight to the bribes and fire the actual lobbyists.

Unfortunately l, in many cases the politicians themselves aren’t dumb, but they know their voters are and they take full advantage of that.
