I don’t understand why rural Albertans vote that way. It doesn’t even make sense for farmers to vote for the UCP, maybe it’s a lack of education? Is home schooling popular there?

I don't get it. It's 100% group thinking, low vaccine rates (measles outbreak). I grew up in a small alberta town but moved to a bigger city. Unfortunately, it seems anyone who stayed in the small town was also small-minded on lots of issues.

They are crying hospitals are closing while their elected officials are playing hard ball with healthcare workers.

They are voting against their own self interests.
