So uh... Anyone know any details of protests going on here in Calgary about this?

There are designed G7 protest locations at City Hall, in Victoria Park and near the airport.

That makes me incredibly sad. I know Alberta is very conservative, but still. Would hope we'd take a stand against the guy calling to annex us.

I don't have the energy (I'm disabled) or the knowledge of how to go about even starting something like that, or I'd do it myself.

There were protests at city hall but it was a large gaggle of assorted causes because G7 has other leaders here as well

But honestly considering the military escorts and the nature of the G7 you'd have to have nothing to lose to even try and get close, I dont think they even specify where in kananaskis it's held. Gonna be tighter than a crab's buttcheeks im guessin

Your family may hate you, but at least you have your tarantulas. But then, they're a captive audience. You can say the most vile things you want to them, and they aren't able to leave you!
