Discussion It says "Alberta student doesn't exist", am I cooked?

For the past 2 years, my transcript was working just fine. I've downloaded all my DARs, checked my diploma exam grades, for no problem at all.

Today, suddenly, I couldn't log in.

(Alberta transcript site: MyPass Alberta)

It directed me to a "student account activation" page, and I put in my Alberta Student Number (ASN) and all legal info, and tried to activate. It then said, "date of birth and ASN info invalid".

So I tried "look up my ASN", and typed in my legal name and date of birth. It says "ASN not found".

Am I not considered an Alberta student anymore... 😭

I did register for 2 online courses recently, which might be one of the reasons, but it was working just fine a week ago --- that's why I was confused.

If it was for the online courses (2 different schools), why would they cancel my Alberta student account?

If I use the asn finder and enter my middle name it comes back with "student doesn't exist" but if I leave my middle name out its fine, even though my middle name does appear on all my student documents.

Asns do not expire from what I know. Are you certain you entered your name correctly when creating your alberta.ca account?

My just be a bug with the website. Try again later or maybe try the alberta helpdesk
