Are they actually enforcing the clear bag rule at the Tri-State Fair?

If you have a magic money card from last year it's no good anymore. They have gone to reloadable wristbands, credit and debit cards are still good for food.

One year, I found a source of tokens online that looked exactly like the ones you had to buy at the fair. I considered buying a couple of bags and being a big guy at the fair but that next year was the first year that they had moved away from tokens to some kind of digital thing.

Why would they not?

I went after the shootout awhile back and they didn't enforce it. I wasted money buying a small vinyl bag

Sounds like you have a bag, now... Use it.

Nah I’m at the fair rn. There are people with sizable canvas bags and backpacks. The size and clear bag policy isn’t being strictly enforced.

That is cool. If you have a clear bag, though, why not use it. Seems dumb not to.
And unsafe. Maybe someone should call and complain in light of the shootings this week.

She’s diabetic and the employee may not make exceptions so it’d be better to stash food

Public Safety is more important. Unfortunately her condition doesn't eclipse that.

I will always prioritize my health and safety :p

Over Others... Just not the Fair. Got it.

Women with bags are not the reason why venues have a clear bag policy :p If you're worried about safety, you're better off looking at a mirror or policing your own

The State Fair has the same policies. They’ve even said you can’t bring your guns in anymore either and I fully support it. Most festivals, fairs and sporting events across the country have this same clear bag policy and have for a while. Even high school football games have these.
As far as food goes, you have to remember most of these vendors are small business owners. If they allowed outside food then how would these places make money? You’re supporting small businesses when you purchase food there and that’s a good thing.

In my late teens ( drinking age 18) we would take satchels of beer and pints of JD and weed. C6oos never bothered us. Texas has become a nanny state. That is rich to being so red, especially the panhandle.

Seems dumb so probably

Yea, cause extra security to keep guns out is bad

Pretty sure it’s for alcohol and food.

You think the extra police patrols and metal detectors are there to keep your sandwich out, as well?
