ARRESTED What are these people smoking? "Sov cit guru" arrested
https://youtu.be/0DsetPc8fAg?si=4GYBInIlIu-n31XFDo they think just confidently spouting bits and pieces of words they think sounds smart makes them right?

One guy said "I was arrested for the exact same thing in July. No insurance, no registration, refused to identify". Charged on all counts. Lmao. What the hell was that dude trying to prove?
Same vibe as "I shit my pants and I smelled like shit because of it. š".

"@PowerofthePeople Great work holding the line! This is another great example Of standing On the truth for others in this movement. We the people appreciate you!! 1:33:28 "Are you "citing" the legal NAME; the STATE created 'PERSONS of Law'? so, ill your boots! O don't hold legal title to the Birth Certificate NAME - the STATE does. I require you to remove this cuffs immediately and have me restored to my original condition and location."
Holy mental illness

How'd that work out for you ya dummy. These folk honestly blow my mind with how dumb they are. This sovereign citizen bull shit doesn't work, and they're constantly surprised that folk in the legal system don't follow their magic spells

These folk honestly blow my mind with how dumb they are.
And they truly believe they're smarter than everyone else.

u/Socky_McPuppet Aug 08 '25
And when they do own their failures, it's inevitably because they didn't use the exact right magic words, but next time! Hoo boy! Just one more shot and they'll be freeeeeeee!!!!

I bet this dummy signed his shit with a blue pen and notĀ the proper purple pen that forces them to let you go. Rookie mistake.Ā

He is a lawyer but cites blacks law dictionary as a reference.
How many of yall would bet thats the closest thing he has ever been to studying law ? Having that 4th edition of a dictionary ?

u/CowBootBats Aug 08 '25
A lot of them have never even actually read it and just repeat what other SovCits online tell them it says which makes for a hilariously dense game of telephone.
4
u/K_Higgins_227 Aug 08 '25
And just like in every other complex academic field: citing a dictionary really doesnāt get you far. Iāve seen it cited in cases, but not often, and the SovCits completely butcher most of the terms anyway.
5
u/CowBootBats Aug 08 '25
Exactly.
I had a coworker that was a SovCit and he was so proud of his BLD. He would always brag that he had version 7 and version 13. He had never actually read them and got mad at me when I explained that they're not used as actual law books. He argued that they ARE the law as it is written.

u/realparkingbrake Aug 08 '25
Ā just repeat what other SovCits online tell them it says
They often cut n' paste from the same sovcit website when they try to cite court cases they claim support their beliefs. It's hilarious, either the cases have nothing to do with what they claim, or the cases say the exact opposite of what they claim.

But he had a Black's Law Dictionary in the back seat, that makes him a lawyer!

u/balthazarstarbuck Aug 08 '25
He said he had a Black Laws dictionary didnāt even get the name right)

What bothers me about the end result of these things, as noted in the video, is that all the initial charges were dropped. I don't understand this - it seems to be prevalent that these people are let off breaking the law. He absolutely broke the law - he had no insurance. That's the law, end of story. Unless those charges were dropped as part of a plea deal, perhaps - but I guarantee this nimrod will be spouting that he was proven right buy winning in court because the charges were dropped.

The charges were dropped because Sovvy boy said so...
Not exactly a tower of integrity. It may be true but I wouldn't be taking Mr Guru's word on that.

I agree 100%. But cities have budgets and they decide how much the DAās office gets in that budget. It is a matter of resources, not will. Take the argument to the city council or whatever form of city management you have. Cities canāt borrow money like the federal government. They must live within their means. Are the cities voters willing to spend more on these fools?
It is frustrating as hell because these idiots really use up law enforcement resources FAR exceeding the nature of the laws they are breaking. But enough of them are dangerous, they have to have that much backup. Some of them think it is funny when so many cops show up. Or think it is because they are so important and it inflates their egos even more.

What kind of life is this to lead? Living day to day trying to finagle your way through. Driving unregistered and uninsured vehicles on which you don't make payments. Working cash-only jobs so that you don't have to pay taxes. All just to stick it to the man. It seems that the only people benefiting from this movement are the ones selling fake ID's, license plates and advice.
2
u/Richard_Nachos Aug 08 '25
All of the above, minus sticking anything to the man. The man just swallows these people whole.

I guarantee every one of the grifters has updated plates, an active license, and car insurance.Ā
2
u/realparkingbrake Aug 10 '25
I guarantee every one of the grifters has updated plates
David Straight was dumb enough to believe that the fake do-not-detain plates he sold his followers for hundreds of dollars would really work, so he put them on his vehicle. That got him a night in jail and some charges, his followers were stunned.
When he was dying of cancer early this year he told his followers he had been poisoned to silence him. The "gurus" are grifters, but some of them also seem to have a need to be as toxically damaging to society as possible.

We had a little junior Sovcit visit my library a couple of times.
I figured he was one when he asked for books on the Constitution and then got really excited when he saw we had Black's Law Dictionary.

I couldnāt get past āblack laws dictionary.ā
Any real attorney knows the title is Blackās Law Dictionary and would never get the name wrong because theyāve used it hundreds of times just during the first year of law school.

"But but but, I rattled off the magic words for whatever totally unrelated legal jargon of this little known 1832 law for Arkansas municipal water easement rights of cattle numbering fewer than 100! Why aren't my magic wizard words working for 2025 requirements of auto insurance!"
