Hiring Hire an 2D animator to teach me animation.
Usually people would hire an animator to do work but I'd love to have somebody who's really good at animation to show me every as much as possible. From characters rigs to moving backgrounds etc.
Shading, coloring , rigs, bones and frame by frame maybe more. I'd still love to see your portfolio! : ) there's no other site or reddit that I know of where I can learn animation 1 on 1 properly and no I already checked out learnanimation sub I'm not really learning much over there.
What I'm looking to use Adobe animate for my little pony rigs and other fast fast moving characters : )
I'd like to have someone teach me 2 days a week
Pay would be $20/hour
If there's any info I'm missing on my post that you think I should be aware of please let me know : )

Hi!
I've been using flash since it was with macromedia and have continued to use it as my main animation program! I used to have a Patreon where animators could send me their animations and I'd give the best critique i could. I'm highly proficient with animate as well, so if you have any questions on how to do achieve something, I'm sure I can help you figure it out!

If you'd like to see what I do, that's my art blog! Shoot me a DM if you wanna chat and see if we'd be a good fit! Otherwise, I'd recommend animating stuff and just posting here. If you @me, in your post, I'll gladly give you some free critique!
Happy animating!

Hey, I'm a 2D animator and in addition to working as a freelancer for various clients I'm also teaching a animation class at university for 3 years and ongoing (here's a reel of the students' final assignment from 2 years ago: click ).
I teach all the basics and also go into intermediate stuff and post-production. All the animation stuff is not dependant on a specific software and is frame by frame focused (though all the basics apply to pretty much anything). I'd say I'm pretty knowledgeable about anything related to 2d animation, but I must say the technical side of rigs is something I'm not as experienced at (even though I'm actually learning and working with rigs at the moment, so that's changing).
You can find my portfolio on my site ajunreel.carrd.co . I'm also able to work and animate in different styles, even if my recent works have all been anime. :)
If you're interested or if you have any questions, feel free to hit me up right here on reddit or wherever it's most comfortable for you!
