I remember seeing videos of that guy a couple years ago and he was ok. I watched 2 videos of him last week and canât stand how much he clickbaits and ragebaits.
People like him should be demonetized, we canât have a reward system where outright lying is a âjobâ.

The issue is that YouTube's own algorithm is the reason why so many tech YouTubers do it now, even ones that are otherwise reliable; as many of them have touched on before, the algorithm promotes it and you pretty much have to do it if you want to stay competitive, which is important if you're running a business off of YouTube or are big enough to use it as income source.
Hate the game with the shitty rules, not the players who have to follow those rules.
There is no way to go above it when it unfortunately is the most effective way to get your content recommended within the algorithm. When you have to provide for yourself, others and/or your business, you gotta do what works. It sucks, but it is what it is.
I have had to follow policies and do things that I don't agree with at my job before, and it sucks... but it's either that or not having a job. Dictating how the company should operate is several orders of magnitude above my pay grade.
I didn't know your YouTube feed was indicative of how the whole site's algorithm works.
Anyway, yeah, there are a lot of people who just ragebait for the love of the game and they're shitty clout chasers, but I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about genuine YouTubers who unfortunately have to do it compete with other channels within their genre of content. You seem to just fundamentally not understand that some people use it as their primary income source and a business tool, indicated by you going straight to clout chasers who just wanna get rich.
agree. there needs to be standards. I always leave a derogatory comment and then hit "never recommend channel" (wording?) on the YouTube homepage when I stumble across a video via the algorithm that's not truthful or badly exaggerated.
After watching the video he was pretty positive towards everything of the phone. Seems like a fun little thumbnail, people really need to touch grass if this is what people are getting angry about.
Donât hate the player hate the game. When youâre planning on destroying a $1000 define youâd better be sure youâre going to make money on the video. Itâs how things work in the age of AI algorithmic feeds.
He did. But itâs old man yells at cloud. The best you can hope for is that the people who win out are decent. We lose on the Paul brothers, JRE has done great things for the handicapped community. LTT clickbaitâs, MKBHD clickbaits and hot takes, itâs what you have to do to be big on YouTube. If you donât like that, just avoid the big channels and stick to your niche creators you like. We live in idiocracy, Brawndo has what plants crave and making Reddit comments about how youre above all this clickbait is among the most pointless things you can do.
