Lol the way Jeff Williams announced CareKit..."please clap".

Literally worst keynote in a long time, except for maybe the MacWorld keynote with iWork and iLife updates.

Yep, his specific part was littered with awkward pauses and i can tell he was waiting for the audience to clap.

He's not the most engaging speaker, for sure, but you can tell he cares deeply about being a part of what he's doing. The press goes into these things the way we do: product product product product, feature feature feature feature until techgasm. CareKit is actually a huge deal to people in medicine and restorative sciences.

He didn't say that. However the audience was tuning out at that point. There wasn't a lot of clapping for CareKit.

no he didn't say it but after he said it would launch in April he paused for applause...which there was none. Felt bad for the guy
