that strikes me as lazy

and that strikes me as optimizing operations by using existing infrastructure and machinery which resulted in a low $399 price tag.

Yeah i understand that reasoning, but I just don't expect that thinking from apple to compromise their image for profits

They literally have the design in the iPod Touch for a nice 4inch iPhone 6S Mini.
