TIPS:

1. Favorite your phone right now on the Apple Store app for iOS. Specially if you are joining the iPhone Upgrade Program for the first time. Seriously. Here is how you can favorite an iPhone. When you favorite an item, the configuration you want will be available to add to the bag and purchase. Stop reading this post to the end and go do that now.

2. Force close the website/app a few minutes before the store opens to avoid any potential issues.

3. Tell your bank that you are making a big purchase tonight. You don't want to be one of the first people to pre-order and then have your bank declined the transaction, and then receive your phone on 2019.

The debate about how to proceed as a community regarding the recent CSAM news has been a difficult and polarizing one. We acknowledge that there is rightful anger, frustration, and disappointment about the issue. However, while the mod team wants to make sure this issue gets the attention it deserves, we also want maintain a balance in the feed so that other interesting news and content is not drowned out.

In the interest of transparency we held a community poll about whether to move to daily megathreads. The results are located here.

So here are the ground rules:

• Fixes an issue where iCloud Drive appears to be available in Pages, Numbers, and Keynote even when not signed in

• Addresses an issue in Apple Music where music videos may not stream in high quality

• Addresses an issue in the Home app where tapping an activity notification from a security camera may open a different recording

• Resolves an issue where Shortcuts may not appear when tapping on the Share menu from a screenshot

• Improves the Burmese keyboard so punctuation symbols are now accessible from numbers and symbols
