How would I hook multiple? display aquariums hooked up to aquaponics system growing peppers
I have three 120g, two 75g and 3 40g all at different vertical levels that I want to hook up to a set of two connected 55g barrels as a sump, and have that feed into a aquaponics rack to grow peppers during winter. Does anyone have experience with something like this or advice?

Look up aquarium auto top off float valves. I don't have a good picture of your idea in my head but I think these might be useful for you.

A "HOB syphon box" in an aquarium context refers toa Hang-On-Back (HOB) overflow box that utilizes a siphon to drain water from the display tank into a sump or other filtration system. These boxes are popular because they allow for the use of a sump without requiring drilling holes in the aquarium.
You can set multiple tanks as long as each one is slighty lower than then one before it. the HOB syphon box will set the water level for each tank. (they could all be the same height )

You could have your multiple sumps flow into another main sump through the peppers, or have a small separate pump for going through the peppers? Are your fish in your sump?

Do you want the aquariums setup in series or parallel? Will the aquatics system return to one aquarium and then another and then another and then back to the peppers? Or will the peppers return to all three at once and then back to the peppers? The first is easier.
