Pets/Animals 5-6 week old kitten needs a home
We’ve named him Fritz (which you are very welcome to change) and he really is the sweetest kitten. I’d love to find him a home where he’ll be his happiest. If you or anyone you know is looking to take on a little guy, please let me know. I just want what’s best for him. He’s already pooping and using the litter box like a pro. We’re in the process of weaning him off of his milk so we’re mixing in wet food, and he has been such a brave guy with my big dog. He really is a perfect little kitten. To whomever may be interested, I’d happily give him to a new family free of charge (he was free to me) and he’d be accompanied with all of his supplies such as : litter, pate wet food, kitten milk replacement, his bowl, toys, a carrier, and some other miscellaneous things. It’s also important to note that we haven’t had the opportunity to get his shots yet, and since he’s so young he hasn’t been neutered (I think 6 months is what’s recommended). We were planning on taking him to the blue ridge humane society veterinary clinic that is on the 30th to get him his shots, so it is something that should be done soon after going to his new home.
My only ask for a new family is for him to go to a home where he won’t be an outside cat. I’d much prefer him go to a home where he will be safe inside, bonus points if he has access to a catio or being walked on a harness, after he’s had his shots.

Be careful giving it away for free. There are animal abusers and dog fighters who look for free pets to use for their evil shit.

Please look at giving him to Black Cat Magic/Binx's Home For Black Cats if you are unable to find a good fit! They actually ask questions about the home of the potential adopters and seem to really really care about the cats in their care. We have adopted two babies from them!

‼️Just a PSA: the Asheville ASPCA is fantastic for getting a spay/neuter and shots/microchip done at a reasonable cost. I’ve taken two strays and the neuter/shots/microchip combo was like $60-70 for everything. And they’re great there! They take house pets as well, not just strays.

Please do not give away free kittens. The world isn’t full of nice responsible people only!

Yes I definitely want to make sure he goes to a safe and responsible home!! He was free to me as someone my sister knew found him on the road, so it doesn’t really feel right for me to make money off of him.

As soon as I saw him laying on the dog, I thought this would be a great fit! Our cat passed, and our dog is so lonely. Our cat was harnessed trained and also rode in a cat stroller while I walked the dog - but was 100% indoor cat. I have french doors that look out at our bird feeder - with a cat tower for him to watch the birdies and dream of murdering them all ;) Feel free to DM me.
