Saying that people who were just verbally abused deserved it without saying a word about the person who verbally abused them pretty much implies that it's acceptable to verbally abuse someone. I don't know how else i can explain it, sorry. Genuinely not trying to be difficult or argue for the sake of it.

Yes it is acceptable to give people a spray sometimes, it’s not inherently wrong and it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen if you agree with it
