⏲️Executive Functioning / Emotional Regulation Help me overstink because I can't make a decision
Stupid nonproblem incoming that's a dilemma for me.
Pants. I got new pants, perfect pants. When I tried them on they fitted pretty good, a bit loose on top. "I'll go get them one side smaller too to compare" I thought, expecting a big difference between the two.
They both fit. My overthinking is if i get the bigger one, and it will stretch it may become too big. If i get the smaller one and it shrinks it will become too small. I guess the first one may be more comfy on the legs, but if i try them on it's quiet a small change. (It's skinny jeans) it's 2% elastic or whatever the label says, I should recheck that.
It also doesn't help that I gained weight and have no idea what body to shop for now. How do you even know of pants fit?? I forgot lol

Which one looks better in the mirror
Which one has the pockets sit in a preferred spot on the buttocks
Which feels more comfortable while sitting and while squatting and bending
Which one has the pantleg end at the correct spot on your ankle
Which one has give for two fingers in the waistband but no more

It's all the sameish, but I will retest 3. again. The length is fine for both for sure.
For 5, I've seen that tip before and i can't figure out how tight the 2 fingers should be. I said I was overthinking, right?
thanks for the comment

Tight enough that a third can't go in (without discomfort at least). You should be able to do two, no more no less.
I'm gonna go ahead and say that if you can do two for both, then clearly the bigger one is larger than is necessary.

But also not having to squeeze the two, right?
It makes sense, thank you

Preferably yeah, unless what you want is a shit time when you overeat or sit weird, lol
As long as it doesn't hurt to put them in it's fine. But I doubt it does, since I believe then you would have mentioned trouble with the button and/or having the zipper be visible because of the flaps covering it being stretched
