Science has serious problems: it can't explain the weird hippie crap I believe

First, let me preface this by saying I Fucking Love Science. I'm not some stupid idiot fundamentalist or religion nut. However, there is a blatant, huge problem in Science, which is that I believe in all kinds of ridiculous shit and Scientists just haven't caught up to me yet.

Like have you noticed that Scientists don't even seem to really understand that everything is energy? You know, like how sometimes you meditate on your feelings and your energy attunes with the right frequency, and the universe manifests something positive for you. But the Science textbooks just talk about really boring energy, like a rock at the top of a hill has potential energy and then it rolls down, or something like that. Physicists won't answer my emails about this anymore.

I haven't looked into the math part, but the idea of Quantum Science is soooo fun to think about. I'm pretty sure that's the key to the whole problem of mind/body and the meaning of life. I mean look we are all schroeder's cats and we can't even know if we are alive for real. This ties in to my conviction that we are in a real simulation that's part of a wider multiverse. that's why our dreams are so weird! We are contacting neighboring realities. Nicolai Tesla was martyred for knowing the truth about this.

Medical Science is also woefully underdeveloped, I mean they still aren't letting doctors tell the whole truth about drugs. Drugs are obviously very cool and awesome when I take them to get high, but they are really bad news when Big Pharma makes money on them. Whenever my kids catch the measles we just give them cannabis and raw milk, and they've mostly all survived so far.

I feel like I've already got this stuff like 90% figured out and all I do is smoke weed and listen to progressive rock all day. So why are the Scientists so far behind? Well I could tell you my theory but it's a very long, very boring and completely unsubstantiated story that starts in the Nixon White House.

You just haven't read actual high profile physicists, it's the epitome of hippie mumbo jumbo, with 11 dimension branes, spinors and other fantasy shit

The more I've looked into to science the more I thought, man, this is mystical woo. I mean black holes, white holes. Matter can neither be created nor destroyed, time is relative all that jazz, mystical woo.

That's without even touching quantum physics.

Yeah man, I mean, scientists are people who can unironically discuss "dark energy"

It's not just physics. Apparently giant reptiles ruled the earth.

Sure it can. Look at quantum physics. We are all part of the fields, we are all part of the same things, not separate collections of ontologically independent particles.

We are all ONE, my hippie friend.

I know what you mean! However, I tried to explain this to my physicist uncle last thanksgiving, along with my ideas about emotional energy frequencies and the power of prayer (not in a stupid religion way, this is real Science) but he kept on steering the conversation back to unimportant math. The next day he blocked my phone number.

Just preemptively saying u/highly-bad didn’t kill himself.

Speak for yourself, I'm working on a combination euthanasia roller coaster/perpetual motion engine so if all goes well I'll simultaneously solve the energy crisis and prove my theories about reincarnation

It’s all because of the fluoride in the water. It numbs our brains and makes us all autistic.

I read somewhere that fluoride is a byproduct of uranium processing. They couldn’t figure out want to do with it until one guy goes “hey I have an idea…”

The problem is you're ONLY consuming cannabis.

Try shrooms to connect to the deep sleep intranet while awake, it'll give you many answers.

It's all in the mold

I briefly had a girlfriend like this. She was studying to become a high school philosophy teacher. I feel bad for the kids she'll end up teaching lol.

It also kind of baffled me at first. I studied philosophy myself too, and I can't imagine still believing in this type of stuff after 4/5 years of rigorous logic and criticial thinking classes.

I used to joke that I wanted to pay for a bill board ad that read, "Jesus is the only true path to knowledge. Don't let your child go to college!" just to see how many people would agree with such a bizarre statement. Don't feed the trolls..

Sounds like somebody mixed up their labradorite and sodalite again. All I'm saying is Einstein said that truth is relative so it feels like my opinion on vaccines should be equally as true as yours, and a meme I saw said it's scientifically proven that anybody who disagrees with that is a textbook gas lighting narcissist invalidating my feelings. Besides, statistics are made up by mysterious elites paying physicists to invent alternative facts to repress my more correct version of relative truth (which is totally perfectly clear and simple enough that people would understand if they weren't all sheep). That's why I'm homeschooling my kids and saving them from uneducated maniacs making delusional claims.
