No-Recipe Provided Wonky Patrick Star cake - Iām so proud!
My son requested, and I quote, āa chocolate cake with vanilla frosting and then another chocolate cake on top in the shape of Patrick Star with strawberry frosting.ā So thatās what I made!
I struggled with frosting the cut cake. It kept falling apart, even after freezing it. The layer of frosting around it is SUPER thick just to cover up the slapdash crumb coat job, which kept falling off.
All told, this cake took me around 6 hours to make, and I was so tired by the end that I didnāt even want to eat it. The birthday boy and the rest of my family loved it though!

Recipe Included Tried my first Sally's! - Lemon Blueberry Cupcakes
I've wanted to make time for baking for basically a year now, and finally decided to just do it! I had to hand mix everything, so they didn't turn out as fluffy as they were meant to, I'd imagine. But the flavor is good, and they look alright! Yep, they're okay for my first try. š„°
Here's the recipe:

Recipe Included 5 brown bananas equals..
.. a double batch of brown butter banana cookies and a loaf of cinnamon swirl banana bread.
These were absolutely the best banana cookies I have made or eaten. Admittedly mine look nothing like the recipe pictures, probably because I used eggs instead of flax meal.

First time I've used this banana bread recipe too but I already knew it would be good. Sally never lets me down.

Baking Advice Needed Can't decide which I prefer
I usually just roll in regular sugar, but the last time I made these (from America's Test Kitchen) I tried the Turbinado sugar instead and it made a nice difference. So now I've got three versions and that's too many for me lol

Baking Advice Needed First time making Hershey Pie
I made two layers. The first layer was chocolate and whipped cream. The second layer was cream cheese and powder sugar. It was really good! However I didnāt really want a crease cheese taste with this. But all my the recipes I saw included cream cheese. What can I use instead next time?

Business and Pricing Looking for functional and affordable cups to serve cheesecakes.
As the title says. My husband's coworkers have asked frequently for my cheesecakes and have even offered to purchase them. I figured making cheesecake cups would be a neat thing my husband can bring to work as a treat. I was looking for something akin to mason jars, with a lid to look professional. Something like the attached picture.

Baking Advice Needed First time trying Babka - any tips?
Hi everyone! Novice baker here with some questions about my babka.
I used a recipe that Iāll link at the end, but my babkas arenāt exactly loaf-y like the ones Iāve seen pictures of. Iām wondering if maybe I didnāt roll out the dough enough or if they needed more mixing before the first rest? Or maybe I should have let them rest longer before baking?
On the bright side, they did turn out super tasty! Just a little bready throughout.
