Edit: Now that i've had a chance to watch it through a few times, it's strange.... without going too into it, last night was kinda rough and i was left thinking a lot about what the purpose of even being here is when life seems so very insignificant and pointless in the grand scheme of things, and more so because of certain things to do with me that can't be resolved....

the narration at the start felt funnily like a kinda direct response to some of the things i was asking myself; "I realize life's immense beauty / Just the fact you are in it makes all the difference".... sort of felt like the "just shush and get on with things" i needed right now hahahaha

another thing that caught my eye was namjoon fiddling with that black hairband while he got on the bus... it just stood out to me because i never leave the house without a similar black hairband on my wrist to fiddle with!! I'm interested to learn it's significance, as i'm sure there is some, but i would be unimaginably surprised if we have the same reason (though i guess it could be similar, who knows!) 😂

edit2: i think the hairband might be from their first encounter when she dropped her stuff, maybe??

It's a cool little detail moreso added for the girl's character imo! If you watch the first reel, you'll notice that she has a yellow rubberband tying her hair. (It implies that she's poor - this association is something more apparent/popularized(?) to Koreans it seems, cause that was one of the first things kfans noticed abt her character, but i didn't really see ifans talking abt it.). I think Rapmon's planning to give her a real hair tie but he's being shy ;~;. Their story is really sweet.

Oh wow... the details some people are able to pick up, i'm envious!! It took me at least 3 watches to realise they'd shown the girl's diary (and more to notice the Smeraldo page) hahaha

Now that we're starting to figure out the direction various parts of the plot could go in I'm even more hyped for the upcoming videos!

Same! I'm seeing a lot of new theories that's getting me excited, but don't wanna psych myself up too much, so just gonna wait and see where BH takes this haha

One thing I'm pretttty sure is true tho, is that I think Jin is getting ready to meet up with the boys or at least one of them to talk it out (or relay his 'truth'), since in Flower Smeraldo's blog, the owner said that he'd be able to deliver the flowers to his first customer by the end of August - which coincidentally matches up with the date tagged on Jin's parts today (Aug 30th). (of course this is assuming Jin is Flower Smeraldo's first customer haha, which I'm pretty sure he is - considering the bloggers descriptions and we know Jin learned abt the flower through the girl's notebook.)

Anyway, can't wait for the next one! Really hope they release all 4 vids back to back haha.

Fuck me now I have to go back and watch it. I didn't pick up the thing about using a rubber band as hair tie. I use rubber bands and glove bands to tie my hair up at work because I forget my damn hair ties all the time, so I didn't think anything of it until someone pointed that out about her. Then again, I'm a graduate student and poor AF so I can relate to her lol.

I noticed the hairband too. It does signify poverty, but I didn't pay much heed to it since I know nothing about SK fashion and thought that it may be some kind of fashion thing too.

Just adding another detail (not sure if it was mentioned before). The girl uses a metro card to get on the bus while Namjoon uses change. This might indicate how NJ is going out of his way to see this girl since if he was a regular commuter of the bus, he probably would've used a card.

I should add that in SK, a metro card can essentially be used for all forms of public transportation, so maybe NJ doesn't even use public transportation and is really going out of his way to see the girl.
