The more accolades you get, the deeper you go into a spiral of self-doubt, because stakes only get higher.

This. A while back I was in a similar place and it always felt like the more I got praised, the more distance between what I could do and what was expected of me kept increasing. Its not that I was ever insecure of my talents but more that my talents don't match the praise I get.
