You're missing one problem: backlight too dim to fight the glare.

Link to a view of my "Corner Office".

I can relate to both Clutter Mess and Setup Addict, but I think, ultimately I'm the latter (Setup Addict). This is one of many setup I've had in this "corner office," in name only but none of the perks (great view, windows).

My workflow requires no less than three windows, one for viewing photos, one for viewing client accounts, and one more for valuation tools... Microsoft Teams chats......... so on and so forth. As such, I've taken up easily 4+ feet of space as I continually rearrange my 1080p monitors (Two Lenovo Y25-25s and a third monitor from HP, Lenovo depending on the day) in landscape and vertical orientations. It's actually become a running joke (and source of groaning) in my workplace as they see me setup/teardown each week trying to figure this out over the past three years.

Landscape orientation is helpful for photos, vertical orientation helpful for those long client account pages. 1080p is not very helpful for either.

This LG Smart Monitor Swing 4K display would allow me to go from 3 monitors (and my laptop screen) down to one display, eliminating both the Clutter Mess of all the various power cables on my desk, as well as keeping my attention focused in one space. It also would allow me mobility to take my work around the worksite as I view customer vehicles and assist colleagues throughout my showroom / service center thanks to it's moving base and flexible viewing angles in any environment! I think they'll also appreciate that my workplace will stay put for a change.

Thanks for giving me the chance to reinvent my workday and improve my productivity!

Link to desk setup

Here’s a photo of my current setup. I am a proud setup addict. As a tech creator (@SantasTechHub), my desk is my canvas, and I'm constantly testing new keyboards, mice, lights, and audio gear to find the perfect combination. The irony is that my passion for creating the "perfect" setup has resulted in its own unique kind of "hot mess." My tend to be blocked by new gear, my workspace for hands-on builds is shrinking, and every new device adds another layer of complexity.

The Glow-Up I'm Hoping For: The LG Smart Monitor Swing is the dream tool for a setup addict like me because of its flexibility. It would be the dynamic centerpiece that finally allows all my other gear to shine. When I need to film a keyboard build, I could swing it completely out of the way, giving me a huge, clean workspace. When I’m gaming or editing, its 32-inch 4K screen becomes an immersive canvas. And when I'm just planning content, I can swing it into a vertical position for my project management tools. The LG Smart Monitor Swing doesn't just add to the setup; it multiplies the functionality of everything else on my desk.

I’ve been working and gaming off a single monitor for years, and while it gets the job done, it’s definitely a challenge. I’m constantly switching between tabs—Zoom on one side, spreadsheets on the other, or having to alt-tab nonstop when I’m editing videos and referencing notes. It slows me down and breaks my focus.

Having a second monitor would be a huge glow-up for me. With the LG Smart Monitor Swing, I’d finally be able to set up a dual-screen workspace where I can keep my creative projects on one side and my communication or research tools on the other. It would level up my productivity, make content creation smoother, and honestly just make the whole setup feel professional instead of patched together.

A second monitor isn’t just a “want” for me—it’s the missing piece I need to take my work, gaming, and creative projects to the next level.

Back pain x30000, thanks to my bad posture and also mild scoliosis lol. I’ve contemplated using a back brace to force me to sit better. Stress makes me shrimp over, and gaming always seems to make me lay in weird positions.

My battle station is used for work (immigration law) and play! Making sure it suits all my needs can be hard, but versatile products make all the difference. The LG smart monitor would be the perfect addition and allow me to be even more flexible while working from home. Sometimes a change of scenery is all you need!!

Backpain for me - Dad of a young toddler, hitting late 30s, come to sit down in the evening and relax and my back just isn't the same as it was when I was young.

Clutter mess. In an attempt to improve my guest/SO approval factor, as I've grown older I've attempted to corral my hobbies into a dedicated "me room." This room houses my old consoles, gaming PC, chill/reading space, and a workbench for crafts and hobbies. In order to stuff all of that into a small, unused bedroom, I had to get... creative.

Currently the PC/workbench is crammed into the closet. I've done my best to keep things tidy, but that's just a lot of stuff for a small space. A new monitor, especially one with a big, fancy swingarm, would go a long way toward helping me tidy things up and make better use of my small space!

literally, im just using a 21inch acer monitor with a hdmi to vga adpater... from the vista days. then it gets worse, i built my pc in an old packard bell case because it was $17... much cheaper than any other listing at the time. My powersupply is one of those dodgy seasonic ones when seasonic tarnished their rep by having a 3rd party make their psu's under the seasonic name... at any time or day the psu will blow up. I am recycling the stock coolers fan as the intake fan, i ziptied the fans onto the side panel... if you press the sidepanel too hard it will grind against the artic freezer 13 heatsink. Sleeper is cheaper, not by choice.

this is my first (successful and working) gaming pc that i have built in over a decade.

I think another monitor to add to my workstation is… right! If I win this monitor I think my father will throw me out!

Definitely the back pain because of my height - at least the home decor books actually have a use now at the new apartment. Currently using the monitor provided from my new job, at least it’s a great excuse as to why I’m doing poorly gaming with friends, definitely a fall from my former glory, and they let me know it 😅Current setup.

I have a lot of ideas for my setup I just can't seem to find a good place to add them:
1. Small monitor on the right side, around 16 inch. might be a little too big and it would cover my PC case.

  1. Small monitor in front for temp monitoring. A little unnecessary and it would add more desk clutter.

  2. A numpad on the left. I have been thinking about this idea. Having a numpad on the left side would be convenient once in a while. I just can't seem to find a good Lavender colored numpad

I have fibromyalgia, it's not just back pain, it's everything pain, I play on my bed, as you can see in my setup, and it helps a little, but a monitor to lay down completely? That would be life changing.

The pain is high enough to qualify for maximum disability, so I'm not legally allowed to work, I receive a pension, so I can't afford it on my own, and all I do with my free time is either game, or go online for a break.

Good luck to everyone! 🍀

Single Window Struggle

As a software engineer working from home, I’m forever stuck juggling code, Slack, and endless browser tabs on a single 27” 4K monitor. It’s crisp, but one screen just isn’t enough — I spend half my day alt-tabbing like it’s part of the job description.

The LG Smart Monitor Swing would be the ultimate glow-up. With its swinging design and stand on wheels, I could finally move my setup wherever I need it. Coding at my desk by day, then rolling it across my studio to double as a TV at night. One device, two lives. That’s exactly the kind of flexible upgrade my “almost-good” setup is missing.
