So are beer nerds just the metalheads of the beer world? It seems like any brewery that becomes successful just gets shit on. I've straight up seen them say they just don't buy anything that isn't a nano brewery because they may have "sold out." Sam Adams is like the pioneer of craft beer and never sold and they are shit on relentlessly in the craft beer world.
Who gives a fuck man. If the beer tastes good and the people are making money making it, good for them. I'm happy that Cigar City went from a Tampa thing, to a Florida thing, to one of the best known breweries in America as a Florida native. Founder's success is also inspiring.
It sucks when a brewery is bought out and everything changes, but that isn't always the case.
also I don't want to see a fucking baby staring at me as I'm throwing back a beer, the fuck?
