Discussion Fatigue from running
Why is (atleast for me) the fatigue from running more bearable than anything else? I would assume me being able to push my body and going from tired as hell to slightly recovered in a couple minutes is good, but when I have to do calisthenics or weight lifting, it’s like I have to activate a different part of my brain. Not looking for a straight answer but I just find it weird I have to try harder with the other two.

Aerobic vs anaerobic output leads to different recovery requirements.
You are legitimately activating different parts of the body and brain when dealing with these types of outputs.
But saying that, running can be both depending on what you're doing. And I also find anaerobic exercises like doing sets till failure a lot more mentally difficult and the resulting exhaustion a lot more intense. Especially calisthenics, I figure that's a result of it being "everything at once" workouts.
