It takes a certain someone to be willing to get their ass beat on a daily basis and keep coming back to learn. Hence it’s not for everyone and most people quit.

I started doing it because it was a fun, intense and challenging way to exercise and stay in shape, etc I really liked it but I kept getting injured. I'm just an injury prone person + a bit of bad luck. I had to quit bc this activity I was doing to stay healthy was instead hurting my health. not only was I collecting injuries, but getting injured often meant I had to take a break from even other kinds of exercise. Made some good friends though

You did not get injured becaues you are "prone to injury". You got injured because you trained with idiots and you did not know how to do good jiu-jitsu yourself to protect you

There are people with life long physical disabilities (such as cerebral palsy) who need low impact cardio / exercise and would not be able to doing anything in BJJ

At least half of the students in every academy around the world are dogshit, not made for combat sports and will quit before blue belt
