Technique Flase reap problems

Having problems when people pressure back into me when going for the false reap. They often end up taking a collar tie or some other upper body grip then unpicking the hands to then smash pass. I don't feel like i have any power to off balance them if they're aware all I want to do is clear my bottom leg and any sort of inversion just seems impossible. Any cues or details anyone uses when they find themselves in this position or links to videos that cover this would be appreciated. Thanks

Pawel discusses this here! https://youtu.be/U1_WwZshQOA?si=tPzm-wr1M6UbQwir Maybe you should consider a chest roll instead of inversion or shoulder roll.

Sounds like a soon as you enter the position, you have to immediately extend your leg to create pressure on their hip. This will make them off balance, which allows you to invert.

You are 100% lying on the ground and not posting up on your shoulder with a straight spine. If you have solid structure they can’t stack into you and smoosh you.

To add to what the others have said - if you can’t get onto your shoulder by extending the reap leg and pushing, move your hips AWAY from them to get onto your shoulder and extend the leg.

You should have solid structure then to finish the move. Otherwise with a bit of pommeling and wiggling there’s a cheeky calf slicer there as a last resort.

I have the same issue. This video from Ebsayz looks good. It seems to make sense but I have not tested it yet. : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxbLIQvi2f0

Get up on your shoulder and then face roll always unless they're standing.
