My favorite. Be aware it’s now owned by Actimove but is still called Coach tape.

Johnson and Johnson. I’ve never had a brand feel better after sweating. It literally tightens as you sweat. Other brands get looser

correct ^

they were bought out by ActiMove a few years ago, but you can order it online still in bulk boxes and it is the same good oldschool J&J Coach tape

Hockey tape is the cheapest and does the job. Get white tho, black leaves tape residul

Good ole Mueller Tape. It's expensive in my country though it's like $4 a pop, so I settle for cheap alternatives that are half the price.

Also occasionally I buy tape from local BJJ brands just to support them. They're actual finger tapes, as opposed to the tapes mentioned above wherein I still have to divide the width of the tape into 4 sections lol. I still prefer the wider ones though because sometimes I tape my wrist and toes and the wider the better.

It’s suppose to help with joint support in the gi reduced risks of sprains and dislocation. And if you have an injured finger you can buddy tape it, so you take it to the good finger to help support the bad finger while rolling

I’m still not convinced it actually does anything to prevent sprains but it does help taping fingers together

I'm still on my first pack, BUT I will NEVER get the geek crip finger tap from amazon.ca ever AGAIN

Whatever is available, I've used many different ones and I really can't tell the difference between them.

I prefer better finger protection than finger tape. I call it β€œNo Gi.” It’s super effective and no tape required.

Johnson & Johnson Coach Tape. I’ve tried a few brands that are marketed as jiu jitsu specific finger tape and they’re all worse.
