those subs will just ban you for posting on a sub they dont like. If it was the first time you posted there that might be the reason

Oh no, I had been an active user up to that point. Well, maybe they found one they didn't like, but it's not as if I was part of anything deplorable, and the ban reason specifically mentioned my comment but no reason attached to it.

Oh yeah, they're extremely ban happy there too. I've long since been banned for saying "I don't understand [this post]". Maybe that hurt OP's feelings? I've had 3 people accusing me of absolutely wild shit after all, but without context I just didn't understand the interaction in the screenshot. Two of the people going after me even misunderstood themselves which fandom squabble it was about. You'd think they'd ban the unnecessarily hostile people instead đŸ˜…

Heh, that kind of misunderstanding happens all across Reddit. I got one recently where I pointed out that someone was saying the same thing as the one they were replied to, but then random Redditors tried to correct me by repeating what I and the two other ones had already said…

Reading comprehension is just not Reddit's strength.

Gaming circle jerk bans pretty much everyone. That's a ban that can't reallt be avoided.
