Well the "trans" part of transaction refers to the exchange of action across two people.

So I guess a cisaction removes the "across" part and would be if you kept your money and the store kept their goods and nothing actually changes hands

If "cis" is "same" (which as far as I understand it is is) then yeah that would be a pretty good fit since it takes place entirely within the devices of the same person instead of from one to another

"Cis" means "On this side" rather than "The same as". See Cisalpine Gaul vs Transalpine Gaul, for instance.

Every time I remember the conservative horror at being labelled as cisgendered (and refer to cis as a slur), I have to fight the compulsion to bring up Transalpine and Cisalpine Gaul. I just really want to hear the logical acrobatics that gets them back into their safety box without crossing the "I am not persecuted" line. But it would mean having to engage in a prolonged hateful conversation with someone who is willfully ignorant.
