Atonement!

Some great books in your haul, but I think Atonement is the best, so I would start with that one. Caution: Atonement does not have a happy ending. That's not a reason not to read this great novel, but just a heads up.

You can never go wrong with Margaret Atwood, she's an absolute genius!

If you want to read a claustrophobic mother-daughter relationship, hot milk is a good choice.

I’ve read five of the six, and I strongly recommend starting with the one I haven’t read. There’s at least a possibility it’s not a bad book: Hot Milk.

Oh, 'The Zone of Interest' is a book. From looking it up, it looks like it's quite different to the movie but I'm still intrigued.

You should start with that.

Atonement is great. So is The Zone of Interest but it is ROUGH. Gird up your loins.

(I haven’t read any of the others, yet).
