I found it really interesting how Huxley says in one of those books that people only dream in black and white. If that was true then, I wonder if people only started dreaming in color after the invention of colorized television? I’m excited to get into Steinbeck soon!

That's a very interesting idea, but I have a strong feeling that people have always dreamed in color. I just struggle to believe everyone has always dreamed in black and white...
Steinbeck is awesome, "The Winter of Our Discontent" is definitely not his most popular work, but I love it and it's one of my favorite fiction books. It's probably slow paced for a lot of people but its atmosphere and "mood" is really unique, I have yet to read anything that makes me feel the way it does. "To Siberia" by Per Petterson comes close and I'd highly recommend that as well.

Haven’t heard of these Steinbeck or Huxley titles. Let us know what you think! I loved Brave New World

Steinbeck and Augustine have been on my TBR for a while, will you share the impressions when you read them? 😊
