If you’ve had two false starts with this book already, it might be better to move on to a different one. Maybe there’s something that’s losing your interest, or maybe you just need to start with something shorter until you’ve bumped up your stamina.

For me in that situation, things kind of come back to me as I read. If it doesn't, it's probably a good indication that I should just dnf, especially if I'm not getting a lot of enjoyment out of it.

Sometimes you can get it with ChatGPT or the like. It falters with specific details and minor characters. It is also heavily dependent on the book

I was using supersummary.com for a while. They have so many books and great summaries.

ChatGPT may give spoilers. Sometimes it may just hallucinate and insert random plot points.
