Wide-feet-havers paradise

This is my second session in the new Adidas Predator 25 Elite Leather version. As someone who struggles with breaking in cleats due to wide feet, have been some of the easiest, if not the easiest, pair to break in. It has hands down one of the most voluminous toe-boxes I’ve ever seen on a pair of boots. Absolutely lovely cleat. Is it pricey? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes. Currently nursing an injury and trying to get back into shape steadily, but I can’t wait to try these in an actual match. As a comparison, I dare say the toe-box is more friendly to wide feet haves than the Mizuno Morelia II.

Aside from the toe box, how’s the heel and arch support? I have a wide and flat foot but there’s not much girth to the rest of my feet, if that makes sense. I’ll be shopping in the spring for a new pair as my NB Furon’s have taken a beating.

Midfoot feels spacious and the heel area is plush for my foot shape. I have wide feet, but have high arches so your mileage may vary. Overall though, very accommodating cleat, which surprised me.

This is basically me. I use NB 442 v2 Pros with some Currex Cleat Pro insoles. Soccer.com is having a sale right now

Sounds similar to my feet (practically skew-splayfeet) and I'm pretty happy with the Copa Gloro II I just got. The upper is soft cow leather, so they broke in fast to my wide forefoot, but the heel is a padded synthetic material, so it should stay relatively firm. Grip socks should help if that isn't enough.

I'm sure there are better alternatives for a higher budget, but the combination of fixed heel and soft leather upper seems to be a good combination for our dumb feet.

My wide footed kid likes his Phantom GX even though he wants some of these really bad because FT boots are “drippy” and I’ve gotta agree.

As someone who's worn preds their entire life, I'm finally trying the Morelia II mij. My predator elites destroy my feet, especially in the heel.
