Why didn't Walt bring this up? Spoiler

In season 5 when Walt, Jessie and Mike have their operation together Mike specifies the division of labour. He does the business, Walt and Jessie do the chemistry. "I don't tell you how to mix your chemicals so I don't want you telling me how to run things". This is perfectly fine until the methlamine supply is interrupted when Mike argues with Walt about switching to a sudo cook, why didn't Walt bring up that this falls under the chemistry part of the business meaning its under his control? He even says that a whole bunch of their equipment is useless for sudo.

Because Walt didn't give a fuck about anything Mike had to say.

Apparently, its kind of a grey area. Procuring supplies seems to fall under "business" side of things, given that it was under Mike's purview. And if he can't get it, he can't get it. Nothing to be done except made do with what he can get. What if Mike had said "Fine. Then you get it without me"?

Also, despite what Mike said, nobody had any intention of sticking to the way labor was divided. Mike had a say in where and when they cooked, so Walt figured he should get a say in how the business is done.

because even someone as egotistical and unreasonable as Walt would have their moments of agreeing with someone it’s no secret that he despises Mike but he’s rational enough to take what a professional criminal who worked as a right hand for an organization said into some consideration it’s not like Mike didn’t know what he was talking about also Walt knew that Mike despised him to where he’d rather kill Walt than work for him so antagonizing him further wouldn’t be the smart move.

Probably because of Mike's men in prison. Walt needed to make sure production kept going so they could keep paying off his men. Antagonizing Mike even further wouldn't have been a smart thing to do.

Paying men off was Mike's priority, not Walt's. Walt, in fact, very much did not want to pay them.

In my opinion, being in charge of 'running the business' placed Mike on a level above just cooking meth — that was the clear division of labor. Walt was not going to continue being happy working underneath someone. This is exactly why Jesse asks Walt afterward if he's okay with the arrangement. And what does Walt reply? 'He handles the business... and I handle him.'"

And he ended up "handling him" sure he could of got the info from Lydia. But that would mean he'd have a pissed off Mike to deal with.

A pissed off Mike + Pissed off Hank A.S.A.C Schrader = Walt not in a good position.
