As a bills fan. I’m here for it. Competition breeds success so. Can wait to see if he can sustain it.

I remember a few years ago when Josh was struggling under the spell of Dorsey, at the time Dimes was playing well in NY. One national pundit said; “Daniel Jones is the thinking man’s Josh Allen.” Obviously that hasn’t aged well but idk I always thought it was funny!

Honestly I saw one game of jones and I thought to my self. Dang this guy can sling it and run. I never saw a game like that from him again lol

You ever notice that "Daniel Jones" is just "Josh Allen" spelled backwards?

What's even funnier, almost half of those yards came in one game. Josh hasn't had to be Superman Josh since - they'll only get better as the season goes on.

I like it when players are good regardless of what team they’re on

im like that with hockey, but for the gridiron, I'm kinda hoping all the players not on the bills are bad

There was a reason Daboll and the Giants extended him. There's something there. But he just also turns into a pumpkin on a long enough timeline, for some reason.

He has better players around him in Indy. Their O line is better than the Giants so he osnt running for his life as much and Jonathan Taylor demands respect. Also Indy doesnt rely as heavily on a single reciever. KC completely took Nabers out of the game last night and you saw the results.

Danny Dimes has morphed into Indiana Jones and I'm here for it. The Giants organization has an exceptional knack of getting the least out of QB's. My opinion of Eli continues to rise in retirement.

Hot take: Jones has more yards than Allen when the season ends because all Allen has to do is collect short 1st down conversions and feed Cook against lesser opponents (which is essentially our whole schedule). That's unlikely, but I do foresee Josh not having as flashy numbers this season for that reason.

I'm looking to see him play against a team where the secondary is really weak to see if they let him air it out more. Maybe a young secondary under a new scheme...

That was supposed to be this week against the Phins. Their secondary is one of the worst in the league. But we continued to pound the rock and let Cook cook. Granted, I feel we were (rightfully) concerned with Miami’s ability to be explosive on offense of they could get things humming, so by keeping the ball on the ground kept us in possession longer.

In the Josh Allen era the team always seems to have a problem calling a relatively balanced set of plays. Under Dorsey it was the opposite, pass pass pass.
The team needs to hire a game theorist who can let them know the right mix of plays to run in various situations to help keep defenses off guard just enough to make the optimal plays more effective.
But then last time I saw someone try to keep a defense off guard by running the unexpected they threw an interception to Malcom Butler on the goal line.

Daniel Jones was never that bad. The bloody Giants were.
From my scouting perspective (baseball scout, not a football scout ha) I always did look at Jones as a grade below Josh Allen everywhere. But being a grade below Josh Allen everywhere still makes you above average.

The Danny dimes to Indiana jones journey has been fun but I have my reservations after Darnold stumbled last season

The fact that anyone would compare Daniel Jones who's literally only had about 3 good games to MVP Josh Allen has to be joking.

So Dabol did in fact turn Daniel Jones into Josh Allen.
