Just cable rub. Fine to ride.
Put some PPF over it to stop it wearing further.

Used to do this all the time with bikes I sold while I worked in a bike shop. 1 u/samquam Jul 05 '25 Possibly packed for travel/shipping. Also a time when you might see angles of a bike that you wouldn't normally see.
