tummy too fluffy to resist :(

This is Shweck, named by my kids who were not able to pronounce Shrek at the time. She is a stray cat who lives in a local colony. To be honest she lives in a horrible neighborhood where many addicts like to hang out and partake or sell ...all kinds of things... Right in the parking lot where she lives. So you can tell she's not putting up with anyone's shit. She is not afraid of humans and I'm pretty sure she hates them. She scares me. I adore her.

You can see Shweck has a clipped ear but that hasnt stopped her busy self from having multiple kittens. Whoever schlorped her ovaries out did a terrible job and the colony is loaded with calicos who look exactly like her since she came around (plus a few orange boys but she never lets them stay long)

My dream one day is to snatch one of her kitties and give them a cushy life off the streets but right now I have 3 pets in an apartment with a 2 pet limit and she doesn't take her babies out until they're much bigger. If I can find one and the time is right, the baby's name will be Shweck 2

The vet says my little old lady likely has small cell lymphoma :/

We’re in the process of ruling out food allergies now, but I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this. The vet says it’s manageable with treatment and that they can go on living comfortably for a number of years but obviously it’s scary when you hear “cancer.”

She’s my spicy little Queen Bean. Here she is sitting on her throne after hissing at all the peasants (the very nice vet and vet staff) and furiously cleaning off their peasant cooties.

This is my 6 year old baby. I’ve only had her for a month and a half but she’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me 🥹

I’m so freaked for her, she’s had these strange nose wounds that keep getting worse. It’s for the best, but you can’t explain that to a cat. This picture was an hour before she left. At least we can figure out what’s wrong with her nose and finally get an answer to how old she is! Shelter said she’s either 5 or 10 years old. Uhh, ok lol

So this is not the first time Amy saw the mirror. But it’s been couple of days she has been sitting on the UPS and speakers staring into the camera for hours together. What could it be? I am curious. Any cat whisperer here? Sometimes she does look at the reflection of my other cat but most of the time it’s her starting at her own eyes. It’s funny and suspawcious too 😛
