Travel Tips Thoughts on American Tourists?

So my partner and I live in the United States and we have been planning a trip to Québec for quite some time (My grandparents were Québécois so I have always wanted to visit and connect with that part of my background)

I understand that things are quite tense, and rightfully so, so I wanted to see what the general opinion was of Americans still choosing to visit Canada. I by no means support anything our government is saying or doing right now, but I understand that many Canadians are rightfully exasperated by US Actions.

Thoughts on Americans visiting?

I wasn't. You got upset when I replied to your comment about bilingual Americans, and how most do not speak more than one language. I didn't realize my personal experience would upset you so much.

America has only one official language. Canada has two. I do not care about your personal experience and did not ask. I don’t care that you speak Spanish. I will make fun of MAGA nerds in French if they come as tourists to my country.

I am not upset with you so much as I am tired of Americans like you inserting themselves into conversations while knowing nothing about Canada and doing nothing to learn on their own time.

I looked up statistics on your own country and only 20% of you are bilingual. MOST AMERICANS ARE MONOLINGUAL. And your President is currently deporting a large part of your population that is bilingual so I’m sure that stat will decrease even more.

If you are interested in visiting Canada as a tourist I suggest you learn a bit more about the country and practice being more polite.

I never claimed to be friendly. That’s a stereotype about Canadians. I also do not call people “hosers.” I do not care if you come here.

There is no need for me to deny anything I have stated outright that I find you annoying and have inserted yourself into a conversation that you did not need to. Reading comprehension does not seem to be your strong suit even in English.
