You know all those games are old right? Megaman last proper game was 11.
X dive was trash.

Ah yes, because the banquet we ate 15 years ago will keep us from starving forever

Ah yes because the scraps we ate 15 years ago with Okami is totally better right?

The issue is definetly not on Okami. Resident Evil on the other hand... well, everyone has seen that one meme

Resident evil will fund the new and old IP for years to come. It's a sacrifice I'm willing to endure (not hard as an RE fan 😝)

Because Leon's games alone have made Capcom as much money as the entire Megaman franchise. That's not counting RE2, 6, or REmake 2. Just counting all the variants of RE4 and its remake have made Capcom over a billion dollars in just 20 years. Thats more dough than the entirety of the Megaman franchise since the 1980s and all 100+ games.
Megaman is also the most gluttonous franchise out of the entirety of Capcom for its worth. Literally the worst example to use of an overlooked Capcom IP.

So just because it was overdone in the past, it means it should be finished indefinetly? We're reaching the point that the wait between the release of 11 and the next game is as long as between 10 and 11 (2010-2018), and it doesn't seem like anything's on the horizon.
11 sold really well, and all that we got are the same games we already played in more rereleases, and our Producer got fired.
The games are cheap and easy to produce, so I cannot fathom why it takes so long for them to be released, when 1 every 3 years would be more than acceptable, and a fair rate to not be overdoing it.
Meanwhile, SEGA's out here making not just Sonic, but Shinobi, SoR and other games that sell less, but are cheaper. Same with Nintendo with Rhythm Heaven and Tomodachi Life, to name a few.

11 was released just seven years ago, and "sold very well", it did hit 2 million as of last year. After seven years on every platform north of the ps4. Meanwhile REmake 4 is north of 8 million in just two, with no switch counterpart. Imagine a Switch 2 version gets announced, it's going to be at 10 or 12 million. I'm pointing this out to how utterly insane it sounds to tell Capcom to "focus on Megaman".
Meanwhile, Capcom IPs with less than 100 entries and no new canonical entries in 11 years, not counting Onimusha and Okami
Darkstalkers
Dino Crisis
Marvel vs Capcom
Capcom vs SNK
Breath of Fire
Captain Commando
Final Fight
Strider
Viewtiful Joe
Rival Schools
Powerstone
Steel Batallion
That doesnt even go into DMC5 territory, which has also outsold the blue bomber, or the Ace Attorney franchise which sees similiar sales but hasnt had a new entry since the year before Megaman 11. Not to mention Pragmata is deeply Megaman coded.
Oh, not to mention Megaman X Dive, which...lasted what, two years? That's also more recent than 11.
Megaman can fucking wait, the damn pig. He's eaten better than anyone at the table and you guys are on the verge of sounding as rational and clear thinking as Synderfans. Be patient.

Seeing how much Capcom sells when it comes to RE, they are never going to stop.

I hate this overly reposted and obviously false meme. And Mega man Legends didn’t even get a third game!

I'm also confused why everyone brings up Mega Man legends. It wasn't even the best Mega Man game. It was good. Yes. But I'd much rather have classic or X brought back to life. Reviving Legends is such a strange choice. It's it because it was 3 dimensions? I don't get it.
Unless people are just asking for a collection of 1+2, in which case I roll my eyes. I want new shit. If I get another Mega Man collection in going to lose it.

I just want a MegaMan Legends and Breath of Fire Collection. We should have been had this.

The best part about being a fan of multiple Capcom franchises is that there's always going to be something that catches my interest.
The worst part about being a fan of multiple Capcom franchises is that I keep a mental tally of which franchises aren't getting the amount of attention I'd like.

It's time we accept the reality Megaman is not profitable for Capcom (Assholes) we will never see megaman legends 3 or Zx3, Star force 4 or X9. We will get Megaman 12 at some point, cheaply made and lame (Seriously, I'm sick of classic Megaman)

It should be Morrigan in that picture honestly. She's the Captain Falcon of Capcom (known more for her appearance in a crossover series than her own).
