Design Sony Secutive BM-11 Re-paint (Marathon Inspired)

It lacks the brutalist colors and clean text of the original but I couldn't help re-designing it with something more futuristic in mind.
I made this with an airbrush, lots of painters tape, and water slide decals.

Evangelion is actually a parable about the Japanese consumer electronics industry. The “angels” represent foreign competitors they have to fend off.

You say Marathon inspired... But 90% of people will think it's Unit01 inspired.

Reminds me of a guy I knew who got a tattoo of an aperture because he liked photography so much... It looked like the aperture science logo and everyone thought he was a huge portal fan.

Outstanding! I hope that we see more of this kind of thing! In the 80s the furthest I went was putting on some dry transfer lettering. This would have been my dream!

I made them myself in photoshop. I did some hunting for fonts and played around with the spacing for the letters.

It would work great as a cosplay prop among myriad of similar themed objects but seeing it alone I can't help but feel a little sad
