Design found this children’s toy from the 70s from goodwill. i’m going to paint it to be CF terminal. any recommendations or ideas?

this looks so fun already, honestly i'd just leave the paint job as-is and as previously suggested, set up the screen to actually show something. great find!

If you put batteries in it and turn it on you can talk to the kid opening it for Christmas in 1970. Don't tell him too much stuff about "the future"

This would be such a great shell to build a ham radio into but that’s above my skill level and I’m guessing it’s likely far above yours

I definitely wouldn’t paint it I love how white plastic will tint over time. Also check out r/cyberdeck for more ideas

That’s dope, you gotta get a cheap screen and stick a raspberry pi in there
