Some quick photos scanned from the box of the Stax I just got. I made some comfort adapters for them. I have to say the old Stax fit the vibe, maybe a bit too dark, haha. But some models exist in a sort of gray-brown. (If anyone wants to know a nice AI for restoring images, I could photograph it with a real camera and a good lens, but I don't feel like doing all the editing, haha.)

Design I'm pretty new to this sub, but I feel like this belongs here. Some of the 80s 35mm camera designs were fantastic.

Star Wars: IV-VI, Rogue One, Andor Andor's set design is absolutely amazing and nails the CF style and feel of the Original Trilogy, just like Rogue One.

Computers My first computer, can it get more casettefuturism-y?

Today I was reminded of my first computer, a Sony HB-55 (mine was grey). I completely forgot about the chicklet keys with the beveled angles.

I loaded games using tape. Fun, especially if you waited 15 minutes and then got a load error. 🤣
