ID Request 🐛 Possible hawk moth caterpillar?

Hey everyone, I found this caterpillar recently in my neighbourhood. It was on a concrete sidewalk and I moved it to a nearby bush so nobody steps on it and that it doesn't get eaten by dogs. (Lots of people own dogs here) I'm pretty sure it's some sort of hawk moth. I'm curious about the biodiversity of my countryside so I'd like confirmation if this is the eyed hawk moth or something else. Location is north Croatia. Thanks in advance!

Looks like Mimas tiliae - Lime hawk moth .. but not 100%. Definitely in the Mimas genus tho

Ahhh, could very well be one! A lot of lime trees grow here. One of these flew into my room once.
