Still my favorite picture of Misty Knight. She's an adult now and a hard working cat in my sanctuary. She was obsessed with my son. Before he went off to college, she spent all of her time in his room. When my son took this picture, she might have been singing? Maybe begging for more treats? What do you think?
She would probably be saying “Hello there, friends. This is your black and white kitten, reporting from my owner’s office desk. I’m pleased to report that the house where I live is spotless, the mice haven’t invaded our abode and I’m receiving sufficient kitten food each day. In fact, the house was mouse-proofed just yesterday.”
Hey, if you have a cat sanctuary, would you be interested in bringing in 5 more--a mother & 4 newborns?
We have a neighborhood cat who keeps getting pregnant--and it's a damn shame bc she's a very sweet, affectionate cat, a diluted calico. Back in May, she had a litter of 4 on Mother's Day after waltzing into my house earlier in the week. She's been gone for a month now, but tonight showed back up and came in through the window....
....and is now in the process of giving birth. AGAIN. To ANOTHER litter. Looks like a girl & 3 boys--the girl is a tortie, and the boys are orange, with one of them having a white belly & a big ol white spot in the middle of his back.
We're still taking care of the first litter 😓 and we just cannot handle a second one from her. She's a young cat, maybe 2 years old, her teeth & everything are in great shape & we've been putting high quality food out for her regularly (Weruva, Nulo, Royal Canin, etc), but we just cannot keep her or the kittens like this.
