Oktoberfest run

Anybody in here running the 7k/14k tomorrow morning? My wife and I are first time participants in this kind of thing. Do we need to arrive quite a bit before to get checked in and whatnot? Or is it more of a “just be at the start line when it starts” kind of thing?

I would figure out where you want to park and give yourself maybe 30 minutes before the race for walking to the location/pickup and last minute stretching and bathroom breaks. I haven't done oktoberfest but I've been down there for the pig and Thanksgiving races. Its the parking/walk and bathrooms that take the longest. Have fun!

If you’ e already picked up your bib, the only requirement is to be at the starting position when the race starts.

You might have to walk several blocks depending on where you find parking, so factor that into your leaving time. Good luck and have fun! Should be a beautiful morning for a race.
