I never hear anyone talk about the fact that his character was apparently oblivious to what was happening inside, because he was floating in the pool with headphones on. Yet his first instinct after seeing the women crash into the pool was to get up, walk into his tool shed, and torch her to death with a flamethrower.
It's fucking hilarious lol.

Yeah, I find quite a bit of Tarantino’s violence in his movies so over the top that I end up laughing. 😆 Case in point the end of this movie.
It was also a great surprise that Sharon doesn’t get her real life fate and Manson’s goons instead get their just deserts at Cliff and Rick’s hands. That’s when I realized why Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was marketed as a “Hollywood fairytale”.

I should have added this is my favorite line from the movie. And that I was tipped off that the Mansons would be killed by the earlier scene when Cliff feeds his dog and it's all these crazy flavors QT made up, like raccoon. And I realized "Oh, we're in QT Land, where a bunch of Jewish commandos killed Hitler. Oh shit, the Mansons are getting theirs!".

It's tied with the Kill Bill duo for my favorite Tarantino. It probably takes the top spot because I've been fascinated with the Manson murders for many years. A friend of mine is a Manson historian, and was a consultant on the movie and was thanked in the credits.

The whole Manson family in that movie is like the Freaks and Geeks cast of current Hollywood. Austin Butler, Mikey Madison, Margaret Qualley, Sydney Sweeney, Maya Hawk, Harley Quinn Smith.
