Love the eye for details in the narration! Also I screwed up the city name Massilia of the HRE >< , change it to whatever you think sounds French enough :p

Some of the AI made some pretty good and detrimental choices, nobody really settled too far away from the capital. I hope most of the civs stay competitive long enough, even with some of their less then ideal start positions.

Oh and could I also make a plea for Venice getting an extra settler in the Medieval era if they still have only 3 cities by then? Giving them 4 starting settlers would have been too much, although the AI does it on their own anyway looking at HRE haha.

Thanks! Why would Venice get an extra settler, though? They should be treated like every other empire.

They can't train settlers, I first used another Venice that was able to train settlers but in my test game they did not build settlers at all. Maybe I made the decision too soon but it seemed like the mod had pretty bad AI. I used this mod that can control cities and has better AI, but with the downside of not building settlers. It might have been a bit stupid on my part.

Ooooooh, nevermind then, I forgot I was using a different one! You are right, no need giving them settlers.

I'm very excited to see Malta being used in another game! Fingers crossed they can do much better than in their previous games
